Rampancy of Stereotypes bring forth...individuality

Individuality takes many forms, and many conformists take many individualists and toss them together just to find a core sample of stereotype to bring them together for easier labeling and faster recognition.

Let me explain: When computers were widely introduced to the public in the seventies people began, feverishly, using their system traits within their real life organizational patterns. i.e. folders-sub folders-sub folders. etc.

Stereotype

Now go into any High School building and begin your study on a single student, this will be your discovery: High School Student-Choir Member-Upper Level Choir Member. (Merely synopsis no one specific is being used as an example.) Alright, unless you are a closer friend to this person, and you were only observing, the sub folder would stop within the Choir status, because it is easier to form a stereotype with less information.

This is where individuality comes into play.

1)Why are they in Choir? Did someone inspire them? Did they do it only out of space in schedule?
2)Who is their best friend? Do they like watching movies with this friend? What's their favorite movie?

The list continues on-and-on.

Now, you're probably reading this and wondering to yourself, "Why is he talking about High School, it is nowhere near what the real world as a whole is, this is silly and pointless."

Well, if you were to stop reading there you would think that this blog is worthless and does not have any reverence to real life application. Here's the punchline, so to speak.

Let us look back a few years September 11th, 2001. Terrorists flew 2 planes into the World Trades Center in New York City, New York. The country took a huge gasp in all together and silence ensues after the tragic event.

Now, let us look at the after math. A war was waged upon a country...Who was responsible for the bombings? Afghanistan? Iraq? Iran?....NO! A group of radical terrorists, the entire country is not responsible for this group, yet the 3 countries, and more paid the price.

Because a group of Middle Eastern Men, following Islamic faith did the deed it instantly transformed the population of the Middle East into terrorists, why? Cause they looked like those who blew up two buildings.

Now, let's do our study again: Middle Eastern American: Dark Skin: Follows Islam = Terrorist.

This was the major mind set of Americans after the attack, but it is still continuing today, of course with less intensity.

You may be thinking, "This is dumb, it's one occurrence and he is putting too much emphasis on it."

World War II, Japanese Americans, and further more, any Asian person who looked Japanese. Enslaved in a concentration camp, stripped of their homes, and pride.

Jews from the Warsaw Harlem: Sent back to Hitler because they did not have enough money and assets to be considered a prominent member of society in America.

I am using America as the major offender here, but she is not the only offender. Some more historical examples: Hitler's Germany, The Chinese Hierarchy B.C.E., Pagans and Christians, Japanese Samurai. The list continues.

It is as if the folders are quarantined and if one file gets a virus, the entire group is corrupt as well. This mind-set needs to be eradicated.

This rambling does, in fact, hold reverence: You know how people say that you learn the most of life's lessons in Kindergarten? How to share, Lend a helping hand, etc.
Well why can we not learn from High School, as well?" Stereotypes will kill nations and fester until a hatred for a group of people has formed, only because of a few people that were placed in a folder in our mind.

Individuality

When a connection is made to bring forth an idea of individuality you have led to an understanding which has transformed your fear of the unknown into a compassion for a single person, which will allow you to understand even more people.

As a people, we have grown increasingly more callus to accepting others into our tight circle of friends, but if we could allow just one or two, giving them the benefit of the doubt and learning some personal internal thoughts, ideas of life, and stories shared by different culture or different life experience, perhaps then we will find the Rampancy of Stereotypes, and finally bring forth individuality.

Thank you for reading,

One person's happiness is always another person's misery: but why should it matter?

First, a little about me: I love helping people whether it is to listen to their incoherent rambling or actually prevent them from having a melt down and killing themselves. So, I help people and just listen to whatever they have to say, as per the title, it is the result of a very recent occurrence.
So, Ready!, Set!, GO!

Alright, my friend, who's name will remain anonymous due to a fear she has for this juicy story getting out into her circle of friends and ruining her, has been crushing on this guy for quite some time, right? He's pretty cute, from what I've heard, and he has this certain suave and close but not-close-enough shave all-day 5 O'clock shadow kinda rugged Jew look. Nice catch, I said.

Well, my friend whom of which I never thought would sway from her bible and instrument long enough to even consider a short break with just a single boy, let alone a major relationship, has made some decent headway with this boy. There have been minor problems along the way, like: An old girlfriend that he couldn't get over, and his Cigar smoking habit, but she has looked past this and kept on keeping on and it has paid off. A long and in depth email lead to the shocking realization that my friend, Saint-of-a-Virgin, slipped her tongue within a boys mouth with pleasure and he has also pursued past the American "Bubble-zone". Cuddling and a continuation of the make-out session continued throughout the night and between random clusters of nap.

What's the big deal Sheldon? Everyone makes out, and such, what's to be upset about?

This is where the title comes into play my friends. As Karma states every reaction has an equal reaction to balance the scale of good and evil in the world. Well as soon as her happiness ensued my misery began, my friend, had gone further than I, she has won, beaten me with tongue, (interesting fact: The tongue is the strongest muscle in the human body). This is fine, no big deal, you know why? Because happiness must win, it must form it's cordon and prevail through the misery of counterpart.

Reason: Without happiness no one would be happy, clearly!!

I am so happy for my friend, I am glad she has this boy to hold on to and cuddle when things look dark, and when hope is being reaped from her hands, and there is no one around, even myself, to help her. This boy is the reason for her to continue perusing phases in her life with confidence and with a strong smile and upbeat angle of approach.

Way to go girl!

This is all for today.
